Meetings & Resources

We are parents, partners, spouses, children, family, and friends
who have lost a loved one due to Substance use.

Grief Bears A Heavy Weight For Everyone.

We have been brought together by the tragic loss of a loved one to addiction, overdose, and drug or alcohol use. Other people may not be as sympathetic toward your feelings of grief because the person you loved had a substance use disorder, addiction or overdose tied to their death. The stigma attached to their disease remain even after a person’s passing. People who have not experienced similar grief do not always understand that there’s more to a person than just their addiction or substance use disorder; the person you lost had a disease.

Grief is a very individual process. There is no set path or timeframe. It’s a rollercoaster with highs and lows. As we learn to move forward the lows aren’t as deep and don’t last as long. Where there is deep grief there is deep love. There will always be a whole in our heart.

If you are walking through this grief journey, we invite you to join us.
